“It is truly a beautiful universe we live in. Enjoy these images, but even better, get yourself out under the stars and [...] you’ll see the heavens with your own eyes.”
Russell Croman is an American photographer based in Austin, TX, passionate of the beauty of the surrounding universe. Although he’s not entirely dedicated to being a photographer (he has a “day job” as a chip design manager), at night he has all the stars above to explore his passion for astrophotography. Many of Russel’s photos are taken from his back yard observatory. Because light polluted the skies, causing limitations on the image quality, he decided to construct a new observatory in New Mexico, operated remotely over the Internet. His photographs, capturing the blissful beauty of the solar system, the galaxies, the nebulas, the supernovas and the whole universe above us, were featured in prestigious publications and organisations websites, such as National Geographic, Space.com, NASA, American Scientist and others. On Russel Croman’s website you can find information about the photo gear used, location and interesting details for each of the photos.

When I see a good article I do three things:1.Forward it to all the relevant contacts.2.keep it in all of the common social sharing sites.3.Be sure to come back to the site where I came accross the post. After reading this post I’m really thinking of doing all three.
