Questioning Life – Surreal Self-Portraits by Manu Pombrol

Questioning the time, life, psychology and human evolution, the unique style of the Spanish artist Manu Pombrol’s work balance on the edge of photography and photo-manipulation. The photographer reveals a whole different world, dominated by the surrealism, where everything is made possible just for finding a sense of the world around us. Incredible creative, probably the most popular works of Manu Pombrol are the surreal self-portraits, in which the artist himself is questioning his reality. Although it’s not as imaginative and complicated as others, I particularly like the last photo I posted, revealing a damaged self-portrait of the artist, questioning himself “Who am I?”. This question searches for answers in all the photos. You can see more inspiring work on Manu Pombrol’s Flickr page.
