Fascinating India – A Photography Journey

Fascinating India – A Photography Journey

With its contrasting character (the rich and the poor, the science boom and the religion, the mountain and the sea), India is a continuous fascination. A muse for cinematography (with the recent “Eat.Pray.Love” and “Slumdog Millionaire”), a place where people come to find their selves, this country is also an inspiration paradise for photographers, fascinated by the faces of India, its amazing landscapes and its traditions.

Here are some India Photos that I found particularly interesting and inspiring.

  2. Bath in Varanasi, India | PhotographyMojo - 18. Jun, 2011

[...] This travel photo of the day introduces us to Varanasi, India. Situated on the River Gange banks, Varanasi is probably the oldest city and one of  seven holy places in India. Varanasi is also the most sacred pilgrimage place for the Hindus. They believe that coming in Varanasi and bathing in the Ganges is a purifying act, ensuring the release of the soul from the cycle of transmigrations.
